Every year, the National Holiday season is a powerhouse period for the film industry, with numerous new releases hitting the screens.

According to the Mtime Pro calendar, as of now, there are 10 movies slated for release during the National Holiday season. These include "Former Flames 4: Early Marriage," "Rock-Solid," "Not as Hot-blooded as You Think," "Moscow Mission," "Volunteer Army: Heroes on the Move," "Paw Patrol: Big Movie 2 - Super Adventure," "I Am Nezha 2: The Hero Returns," "Beken Bear: Mars Mission," "The Little Mermaid: Legend of the Sea Monster," and "Kung Fu King: The Adorable Tiger's Ascent." As per our information, the film "Former Flames 4: Early Marriage" is directed by Tian Yusheng and stars Han Geng, Zheng Kai, special guest appearance by Yu Wenwen, and featuring Liu Yase and Zeng Mengxue. Zhang Tian'ai makes a special appearance, with Zhu Yanmanzi in a supporting role, and Roma in a family cameo.

"Rock-Solid," on the other hand, marks director Zhang Yimou's first foray into the crime thriller genre. The cast is star-studded, with leading actors including Lei Jiayin, Zhang Guoli, Yu Hewei, Zhou Dongyu, Sun Yizhou, Li Naiwen, Xu Yajun, Tian Yu, He Zhengjun, Chen Chong, and Wang Xun.

The film revolves around the story of Su Jianming, a technical police officer (played by Lei Jiayin), who, in his pursuit of solving a case, disregards his father Zheng Gang's (played by Zhang Guoli) advice. He attends the "Hongmen Banquet" hosted by wealthy businessman Li Zhitian (played by Yu Hewei). Su witnesses Li's audacious tricks and brutality, leading to a series of events, including concealed corpses, wrench attacks, an illicit transaction involving billions, and the mysterious "old man's resources." These seemingly straightforward criminal events conceal a hidden story of intrigue and conspiracy.
