On June 7th, local time, an accident took place on the Moroccan set of 'Gladiator 2', directed by Ridley Scott and featuring Paul Masca. The incident happened during a stunt performance, causing burns to 6 crew members.
A spokesperson for Paramount confirmed that the 6 crew members are not in life-threatening condition. It is reported that 4 individuals are still receiving treatment in the hospital, and their condition is currently stable.
Walter F. Parkes, one of the film's producers, revealed to the media that the storyline of the movie would unfold 30 years after the events of the first film. The return of specific characters has not been disclosed yet. 'Gladiator 2' is set to be released on November 22, 2024.
