Actor Meijers to Face Trial in August for Domestic Violence Charges

Actor Meijers appeared in a New York criminal court on June 20th to hear charges against him, including assault and harassment. It was later confirmed that he will face trial on August 3rd for allegations of domestic violence.

Meijers was accused of assaulting and harassing a 30-year-old woman during a domestic dispute on March 25th and was subsequently arrested. His criminal defense lawyer, Priya Choudhury, quickly denied the charges in a statement, claiming that Meijers is 'completely innocent' and can prove that he had a verbal altercation with a woman he knows, and he was the victim.

Choudhury added that they are 'collecting and providing evidence to the local prosecutor, and expect all charges to be dropped immediately.'
