"Shazam 2" Star Criticizes Hollywood: Too Many Trash Movies

Zachary Levi, the lead actor in "Shazam 2," expressed his disappointment in the current industry at a fan expo in Chicago last Saturday.
He stated, "A significant portion of Hollywood's content is trash. They lure people into theaters with captivating trailers, but the actual substance of the films is lacking. These production companies seem indifferent to the quality of the movies; they just want to pocket the audience's money."
He urged, "Let's not contribute our money to these 'garbage' films at the theaters. This will contribute to improving the situation."
During the expo held last month, Zachary Levi also discussed "Shazam 2." He believed the movie received decent audience ratings, but its box office performance clearly faltered. He attributed the failure primarily to the toxicity of film critics. Audiences tend to blindly follow critics' evaluations instead of experiencing the movies firsthand in theaters.
