According to media reports on June 29th, 64-year-old American pop queen Madonna was urgently hospitalized and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) after losing consciousness on June 24th. Madonna's manager confirmed that she is suffering from a 'severe bacterial infection' and needs to stay in the ICU for a few days.

Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, issued a statement on June 28th, saying, 'On June 24th, Madonna was in the ICU for a few days due to a severe bacterial infection.'

Guy Oseary stated that Madonna is still receiving medical care but her condition is gradually improving. 'She is still undergoing professional treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.'

It is reported that Madonna was intubated overnight while unconscious, but she has since regained consciousness and is currently recovering. Madonna's 26-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon has been by her side in the hospital.

However, Madonna's work plans will be affected as her upcoming tour 'Celebration,' which was originally scheduled to begin on July 15th in Vancouver, Canada, will be postponed. The tour, which aims to celebrate the pop queen's 40th anniversary in the industry, was expected to have 84 shows.
