According to previous reports, during the first trial, Huanyu Bonafilm presented 95 pieces of evidence and showcased a 'plagiarism comparison video' covering nearly 40 minutes of the disputed film, demonstrating 16 instances of 196 specific plagiarized details.

In the second trial, the defendants denied the allegations of plagiarism, arguing that the plaintiff's 'Perfect Lover' is a romance film, while 'Drug Bust 2' belongs to the crime thriller genre, making it impossible to plagiarize a romance film. The chairman of Huanyu Bonafilm stated that the second trial has concluded, and the judgment will be announced at a later date.
