Concert Ticket Controversy: Official Response Stresses Actual Seat Allocation

According to reports from West Decision, on September 5, 2023, a Ms. Chen purchased two tickets for the Wu Bai concert in Beijing. However, just before the show, she was shocked to discover that her seats had been changed from the originally promised 3rd row to the 11th row. Ms. Chen explained that she had bought these tickets back in June through "Ticket Planet," and in late August, the tickets showed her seats as 3rd row, seat 18, and 4th row, seat 10. But on September 5th, upon rechecking the tickets, she found her original tickets had been canceled, and she had been issued two tickets for the 11th row.

Ms. Chen also raised concerns about ticket prices for front-row seats skyrocketing to thousands of dollars. This led her to suspect whether the customer service at "Ticket Planet" had engaged in unauthorized dealings with ticket scalpers. In response, the customer service at "Ticket Planet" stated that it was a human error in ticket allocation, and the seat locations on the tickets fell within the price range initially chosen during purchase. The customer service department emphasized that the actual ticket received should be the definitive reference point.
