According to reports, a 35-year-old chef broke into Cumberbatch's property in London, kicking open the door while wielding a knife and menacingly declaring, 'I know you've all moved in here, I'll burn your house down!' Cumberbatch, his wife, and three children inside the house heard these threats.
The intruder reportedly not only uprooted plants from the yard and threw them against the walls but also spat on the intercom and dismantled it before swiftly fleeing the scene. Later, he was apprehended by the police, fined, and issued a three-year restraining order. The motive behind his actions remains unclear.
