In the new era, a lifeform known as the Light Eroder wreaks havoc on Earth. Within a mere thirty years, humanity loses 95% of its living space. Survivors are forced into the last safe zone, struggling for survival. They pin their hopes on scientists to turn the tide, underestimating the ugliness of human nature.

Due to human intervention, the B-37 Fusion Reactor, intended to unveil the Light Eroder's workings, explodes, causing millions of deaths and marking another failed attempt at self-preservation. The precarious situation escalates into a confrontation of conspiracies among major powers, as they ruthlessly vie for the remaining resources on Earth. The once struggling outcasts on the edge of the Light Eroder desert become pawns in their struggle.

However, with a collective sudden mutation of the Light Eroder, a brutally undeniable reality emerges. Humanity may be on the brink of apocalypse, and even the deepest conspirators will feel profound despair.
