The official announcement from "The Chronicles of Divinity: Part One" reveals a remarkable feat as it breaks the $2.3 billion mark at the box office! As of today, the film has been gracing the big screens for 34 days, maintaining a steady 7.8 rating on Douban.

The frigid weather chills to the bone, and a sense of danger hangs in the air. Yin Shou (portrayed by Fei Xiang), the second prince of the mighty Shang dynasty, leads his personally trained elite force and the grand Shang army on a mission to quell the rebellion led by the Marquis of Ji Zhou, Su Hu. In an unexpected turn of events, he inadvertently releases a seal binding a fox spirit within the Xuan Yuan tomb. This fox spirit takes possession of Su Hu's daughter, Daji (played by Na Ran), and is brought back to Chao Ge as a gift for the sovereign and his elder brother. During a night banquet, the eldest prince becomes maddened and bewildered, committing patricide with a drawn sword.

Following this grim event, Yin Shou ascends to the throne, but a series of calamities forces him to make the drastic decision of self-immolation in an attempt to placate the heavens. Meanwhile, Jiang Zi Ya (portrayed by Huang Bo), an immortal from the Kunlun Mountains, departs with the Divinity Scroll in search of the destined leader who can save the people from the perilous times. During his time in Chao Ge, he begins to recognize the true cruelty hidden within Yin Shou, prompting him to leave the city with haste. On the other side, Prince Yin Jiao (played by Chen Mu Chi), who once regarded Yin Shou as a righteous ruler, and Duke Ji Fa (portrayed by Yu Shi), also become aware of the king's hidden desires and the enigmatic nature of Daji.
