"Avengers 3" cut off 45 minutes of Thanos' plot to destroy Xandar star

According to IGN, 45 minutes of footage from "Avengers: Infinity War" was deleted, which tells how Thanos got the first Infinity Stone.
It is said that Thanos will go to Xandar in this plot and destroy Xandar and the Nova Corps here, but some factors caused this plot to be deleted.
"A month or so before the movie came out, I got an email from Joe saying, 'We cut out 45 minutes of Infinity War, where he got the first gem, and they had to cut it.'" Patriarch's creator Jim Sterling said. They actually shot it, but they didn't want to spend so much money on special effects, and they didn't want the movie to become like Endgame and become as long as three hours. They didn't realize the movie would be such a hit.
"Avengers: Infinity War" hit $2.048 billion at the global box office, ranking No. 6 worldwide.
