"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" is about to be released, and Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors can be regarded as one of the cores of the film. However, there is actually another villain in the movie, Mordok.

The film's director is said to have found inspiration for the two characters in the 1979 film “Apocalypse Now”.

"The relationship between Kang and Mordoc reminds me of the relationship between Dennis Hope and Marlon Brando in “Apocalypse Now”. Of course Mordoc doesn't really have a choice, but he drank Kool-Aid and totally Agreeing to Kang's plan became a literal killing machine."

In Apocalypse Now, Brando plays Colonel Kurtz, a supposedly deranged American officer who raises his own rogue army in the Cambodian jungle. Hopper, who plays the American photojournalist, is an avid Kurtz fan who sees the man as something almost an anomaly. There is a similar relationship between Kang the Conqueror and Mordok.
