Veteran action star Dolph Lundgren recently revealed to foreign media that he has been battling cancer for the past eight years. Doctors first discovered and removed a tumor on the actor's kidney in 2015.

"I had scans every six months, slowly turning into annual ones. Five years later, I recovered pretty well," Lundgren said. "In 2020, I came back to Sweden with a bit of acid reflux and had an MRI. On resonance, it was found that there were six more tumors surrounding this area, one of which had grown too large to be removed."

Since then, Lundgren has started full-body therapy. In the fall of 2021, more tumors were discovered on his body while filming "Aquaman 2" and "The Expendables 4" in London. "The situation is much worse than we thought," Longer said. "The doctor advised me to take a break and spend more time with my family. I asked how long he could live, and they said 2-3 years." After using the correct method, his tumor shrank by 20% to 30% within three months, and the combination of surgery and drugs inhibited the development of cancerous tissue.
