Insiders revealed that Warner Bros. is strongly considering moving 'Dune 2's current release date of November 3rd to the following year, owing to the ongoing Hollywood labor strike. The movie, a collaboration with Legendary Pictures, requires mutual agreement on the new release date. They added that Warner Bros. has not yet approached Legendary Pictures.

Another source familiar with Warner Bros. stated that the film's distribution is proceeding as planned, and there haven't been any formal discussions about the release date. However, they also pointed out that the duration of the union struggle is entirely unpredictable.

Furthermore, there are reports that Warner Bros. is reevaluating the schedules for the highly anticipated musical 'Purple' and DC's 'Aquaman 2'.
