Kevin Feige Discusses MCU: 32 Films Barely Scratch the Surface

The MCU has traversed fifteen years and five phases, but according to Kevin Feige, it's far from over.

In 2008, Robert Downey Jr. first portrayed Tony Stark in "Iron Man," followed by Bruce Banner's debut in "The Incredible Hulk." It seems like a distant memory. However, after 15 years, five phases, 32 films, 10 series, and Disney's acquisition, the MCU has become one of the most massive franchises in film history.

Despite an abundance of media coverage, some audiences are starting to feel aesthetic fatigue. Still, MCU's chief, Kevin Feige, appears to think differently.

During a recent interview with "Variety," Kevin Feige delved into the future of the MCU, highlighting the enormous potential of the Marvel brand's history.

"The greatness of Marvel truly lies in the multitude of captivating, fascinating characters we have in the comics, a history that has been building for 85 years. Even after producing 32 films, it feels like we've only scratched the surface."

Evidently, the comics hold an abundance of stories, many of which may find their way to the big screen. However, the outlook for the MCU remains uncertain, given the current actor strikes.
