In a horse-riding scene filmed two years ago for the drama 'King Taejong Muyeol,' a horse tripped and fell while running at high speed, causing it to hit the ground headfirst and sustain fatal injuries. Multiple animal protection groups in South Korea reported the production team of 'King Taejong Muyeol' and KBS television station for violating animal protection laws.

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office announced today (July 7th) that the three staff members involved in the case have been charged and will face trial soon.
