According to entertainment news from Sina, Hong Kong media reported that Li Silin, the second sister of CoCo Lee, responded to rumors about her husband Bruce's involvement in the inheritance dispute.

She stated that the rumors were not from her, and she didn't know why such speculations existed. Regarding the rumor about Coco's hundred dresses being withheld by her husband, Li Silin explained that before Coco's passing, they were already living separately from Bruce. Most of the clothes were left at her previous place and were not obstructed. They simply couldn't find them. She said, 'They are just clothes. If they are gone, I'll buy her a few new ones to wear.'

Previously, according to Hong Kong media reports, conflicts between CoCo Lee's family and Bruce had been escalating due to Bruce's refusal to cooperate. CoCo's close friend revealed in an interview that when they were sorting out CoCo's belongings after her passing, they did not find the red dress she wore during her Oscar performance. The family suspected that when CoCo moved out of Bruce's place, she didn't take her clothes with her. So they went to Bruce's home to find them and were stopped at the door. The family demanded Bruce to hand over CoCo's clothes within 48 hours, threatening to report them for theft. However, they only retrieved six or seven dresses in the end.

In response, CoCo's husband Bruce issued a statement saying, 'I respect all arrangements CoCo made for her personal property. I have never and will never be involved in any matters regarding the distribution of CoCo's property.' He also clarified that the online rumors about their marriage and financial situation were far from the truth.
