Marvel Sets Up Sting Operation to Catch Thief of 'The Avengers' Script

Samuel L. Jackson, the actor who played Nick Fury, recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the script for 'The Avengers' was stolen. Someone made a copy of the script and sold it online without authorization. Marvel officials investigated and discovered the identity of the thief. To expose the person, Marvel set up a sting operation, pretending to be interested in purchasing the script. However, the individual managed to evade capture.
Jackson said, 'When we were getting ready to film 'The Avengers,' someone made a copy of my script with a watermark and put it up for sale online. I was shooting in Canada, so Marvel personnel came to Canada, and the script was printed in the film production office. They found out who did it, but the person quit and fled abroad. They set up a sting operation, pretending to want to buy the script, but he didn't show up. It was crazy.'
Jackson also revealed that Marvel officials successfully caught the owner of a drone that was used for unauthorized filming on the film set. 'They tracked down the owner by following the drone. Yes, they caught him.'
