According to Forbes magazine, the production cost of Marvel's new series 'Secret Invasion' has been revealed, with Disney investing over $200 million.
According to media analytics firm Samba TV, the show premiered on the Disney+ platform at the end of last month, ranking second to last in terms of streaming ratings among all Marvel comic series. The data shows that 'Secret Invasion' had 994,000 viewers in the first five days, slightly higher than the 775,000 viewers for 'Ms. Marvel.' The popular series 'Loki' had 2.5 million viewers in the first five days, while 'Moon Knight' had 1.8 million viewers, showcasing a stark contrast to the lackluster performance of 'Secret Invasion.'
'Secret Invasion' follows the return of Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) to Earth, as he teams up with Talos (played by Ben Mendelsohn) and Maria Hill (played by Cobie Smulders) to stop the Skrull invasion. As of the time of writing, the series has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 61% and an average score of 63 on Metacritic.
