According to The Wall Street Journal, Netflix is planning to raise prices in "multiple global markets," starting with the United States and Canada. Netflix has declined to comment on this matter.
It's worth noting that Netflix already underwent a comprehensive price increase last year. The ad-free subscription now starts at a minimum of $15.49 per month, while the Premium subscription has been raised to $19.99 per month.
In addition, the company has introduced a $6.99 per month ad-supported package and has discontinued the $9.99 per month basic ad-free option. This move has sparked mixed reactions from users.
