Thirty years ago, the 'campus folk songs' made 'You, My Desk Mate' and 'My Brother Sleeping on the Upper Bunk' popular for a while, and it turned Old Wolf from an engineer into a representative of the youth era.
In the past 30 years, he has only released three albums, repeatedly singing 'I Want to Sing to You,' 'We Parted Ways in the Blink of an Eye,' and 'My Initial Confusion.'
When asked why he hasn't released an album since 2007, he said, 'The era of records that belonged to us has already passed, and I don't want to put much effort into it anymore. I am a relatively shallow person who likes to go with the flow and enjoy an ordinary life.'
Regarding the education of children, Old Wolf said, 'My greatest anxiety comes from the next generation growing up in the era of smartphones. They know a lot of miscellaneous and even harmful knowledge, which makes me feel desperate.'
