According to Sina Entertainment, Qiong Yao's creative career has reached its 60th year milestone. On the 5th, a press conference was held to announce the '2023: Qiong Yao 60th Anniversary Concert' which will take place on August 19th at Taipei Arena.
The concert will bring together George Lam, Li Yijun, Gao Shengmei, Yin Zhengyang, Power Station, and Pan Yueyun for performances, presenting classic film and TV theme songs created by Qiong Yao.
Qiong Yao, born in 1938, is a contemporary Chinese author, screenwriter, and producer. At the age of 16, Qiong Yao published the novel 'Yun Ying' under the pen name Xin Ru, and at 25, she published her first collection of long novels titled 'Chuang Wai.' Many of Qiong Yao's novels have been adapted into films or TV dramas, including well-known works such as the 'Deep in the Courtyard,' 'Meihua San Nong' series, and the 'Huan Zhu Ge Ge' series.
