Rumor Has It: Nolan to Direct the Next Two "007" Films

Following the success of "Oppenheimer," there are rumors circulating that Christopher Nolan might take the helm for the next two James Bond films.

According to the insider news website "World of Reel," Barbara Broccoli, the producer of the "007" series, is reportedly considering Nolan for the role. Speculation about Nolan taking on this job began before the Hollywood strike and the tour for "Oppenheimer," but both of these events have also caused delays in the negotiations.

While Broccoli hopes Nolan will direct the next two "007" films, there are some differences between them, as Nolan desires complete creative freedom as a director and writer.

The "World of Reel" report mentions that Broccoli usually doesn't grant her film producers full creative freedom, typically providing a rough blueprint for making a "007" film. However, Nolan is renowned for his distinct personal style, making this a significant point of contention in their negotiations.

Nevertheless, the issue of creative freedom may not deter Nolan. He has previously expressed himself as a dedicated fan of the "007" series, so Nolan is unlikely to easily pass up this opportunity.
