"Black Robe" Butcher will join "Mortal Kombat 2" as the popular character Cage

Foreign media "The Wrap" news. Karl Urban, who played The Butcher in Black Picket, will play Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 2.
In the end credits for 2021's Mortal Kombat 1, there was a scene that suggested that Johnny Cage would appear in the sequel.
Cage first appeared in the Mortal Kombat arcade game in 1992 and has since become a central character in the series, alongside other fan favorites like Raiden and Liu Kang. Cage is an action movie star with a background in martial arts who takes his image very seriously and consistently acts cool.
In the Mortal Kombat series, Cage is one of the main heroes protecting the Earth from various threats, known for his signature moves and critical strikes. In later series, Cage's character was played by his daughter, Cassie Cage.
