The ending of "TLOU" S1 is almost changed, the artistic conception is more beautiful

The first season of the "Last Survivor" series has officially ended, and some players who have not watched the ending of the game version have discussed the behavior of the characters in the series after watching the TV series.

The show's creators, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, said in an interview that the show's ending was almost about to change.

The season one finale of The Last of Us contained violence and deceit. Joel was unwilling to let Huoying kill Ellie to study the antidote. He killed many people violently in the hospital to save Ellie. But instead of telling Ellie the truth, Joel lied to her.

At the end, Ellie and Joel confront each other and ask Joel to tell the truth, which Joel swears to tell the truth. Ellie replied with a meaningful "Okay", and the story came to an abrupt end.

According to Craig Mazin, they considered changing the way they filmed the scene.

"This variation is something that our director, Ali Abbasi, has been thinking about, and he wanted a longer, more emotionally charged version. Ellie would say 'Okay' and walk away. Joel would Look at her, and then the two walked towards Jackson together, but not together, but one behind the other. The camera lingered here for a while, and then slowly blurred. This will have a very beautiful artistic conception."

This is a completely different approach to the actual ending. The official version of the ending is "stopped at that moment forever" in Mazin's words, but the above scene change is also thought-provoking.

Neil Druckmann went on to say that while they were making the game, no one knew if there would be a sequel. Although "The Last of Us 2" has been confirmed, he believes that "this ending is not a suspense, it is an appropriate ending."
