Will Smith Returns to Work on 'Bad Boys 4' After Assault Incident

According to foreign media, Will Smith was photographed on the set of 'Bad Boys 4' in Atlanta, United States on June 7, 2023. He was dressed in a police uniform and holding prop firearms.

Due to the Will Smith assault incident, the production of this sequel was postponed from last year and resumed this year. The film is directed by the duo directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as the lead actors.

The story revolves around Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) leaving the police department to become a private detective after falling out with Mike Lowery (Smith), while Lowery is going through a midlife crisis and dealing with a young partner who is arrogant but loyal. The antagonist is an Albanian mercenary seeking revenge for his deceased brother, launching an attack against Burnett and Lowery, forcing the two estranged partners to reunite and fight against the criminal forces.

Currently, 'Bad Boys 4' is still in the pre-production stage, and the release date has not been announced.
