Netflix's producers of "One Piece Live-Action," Matt Adelstein and Becky Clements, shared their long-term vision for the series in an interview with Deadline. "We aspire to create 12 seasons because there's an abundance of source material," they mentioned.

Clements concurred, adding, "As of now, the manga has over 1,080 chapters... We've already devised a plan to divide the manga into multiple seasons. Even after producing six seasons, the show might only cover half of the manga's story. It has immense potential to continue."

"If given the opportunity, we'll delve deeper into the plot of the second season, followed by discussions about seasons three through six," Clements continued. "I want to emphasize that we're all aware of the parts in the manga that are absolutely irreplaceable. That will be our guiding principle, as we understand the significance of these stories and characters to the fans."

It's worth noting that the "One Piece" anime, which first aired in 1999, has already broadcasted 1,072 episodes. Additionally, there are 13 special episodes and 15 feature-length films. (Source: Gamesradar)
