Saving Stray Dogs - Peng Yuyan and Director Guan Hu's Movie "Dog's Loyalty" Unveils First Trailer

At the Hengdian Film and TV Festival, the movie "Dog's Loyalty," directed by Guan Hu and starring Peng Yuyan, made its first appearance with a teaser trailer. Zhang Yi and Jia Zhangke also play significant roles in the film.
Guan Hu introduced the film on the spot, which tells the touching story of a man and a dog. It is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2024.
Over a decade ago, in a small town in the Northwest, Erlang, who had been wandering for ten years, returned to his hometown with a philosophy of survival reminiscent of a lone wanderer. To make a living, he joined a civilian dog-catching team, recommended by his old friend Nie Shili. Day after day, they transported stray dogs. However, a stray dog named Ma Sheng entered his life. This dog had the blood of a wolf and fought fiercely for survival, moving Erlang. The two kindred souls gradually developed a connection. Erlang's compassion for life was rekindled, and the masculinity and courage buried within him were reawakened. He became proactive, not only to save more stray dogs but also to redeem his own soul.
