Legacy of Superman: "Legacy of Superman" is Not a Film About "Young Superman"

Earlier, there were rumors that "Legacy of Superman" would focus on the "early part" of Superman's life. However, director James Gunn clarified recently that the film is not about a "young Superman."

On Threads, a fan requested Gunn to reveal the filming schedule of "Legacy of Superman" and whether this "young Superman" film is set in the past. Gunn replied, "I've never directed a 'young Superman' film; it's simply a Superman film."

In this movie, David Collinsworth portrays the new Superman, while Rachel Brosnan portrays Lois Lane. The plot revolves around "the blend of Superman's Kryptonian noble origin and his upbringing on a Kansas farm. As the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American way in a world that deems kindness as outdated, Superman takes human virtues as a guiding light in moving forward."
