"Creation of the Gods: Revelation" Set to Premiere on November 3rd, Starring Zhang Guoli and Han Geng

On September 27th, it was officially announced that "Creation of the Gods: Revelation," starring Zhang Guoli, Han Geng, and Xue Haojing, is scheduled to premiere on November 3rd. This film is brought to you by the same team that won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film with "Oppenheimer" and marks the debut of renowned Japanese director Yojiro Takita in the Chinese-language film industry.

The movie has unveiled a thought-provoking poster, titled "Hidden in the Heart," showcasing the characters of Liu Jian San (played by Han Geng) and Liu Ting Shen (played by Zhang Guoli). Both stand before an ancient wooden door, conveying the film's profound essence. The conflicts and misunderstandings between this father and son are also apparent. This collaboration marks the first time Han Geng and Zhang Guoli have teamed up to portray a father-son relationship in a film. As accomplished actors from the Chinese mainland, they manage to convey their characters' inner states with just a single glance.

"Creation of the Gods: Revelation" tells the story of the multi-generational "Tong Shun Xiang," a century-old shop famous for its unique ice crystal cake-making technique. However, Liu Ting Shen (played by Zhang Guoli), the father, has always refused to pass on the secret recipe to his son, Liu Jian San (played by Han Geng), leading to misunderstandings and estrangement between them. Frustrated, Jian San chooses to leave his father's home to pursue his dreams. Many years later, he returns home to visit his ailing father, only to discover that his father's long-hidden secret is closely tied to his own past…
