You Benchang's iconic Ji Gong portrayal resonates once more. On December 31, the 90-year-old acting veteran shared a video donning the familiar yet tattered Ji Gong attire, complemented by a festive red scarf.

In the video, Grandpa Ji Gong, played by You Benchang, is seen at the Yunju Temple in Beijing, ringing the bell and offering blessings. He wishes the audience good health, freedom from troubles, smooth sailing, increased wisdom and wealth, a blissful life, and national peace. Public records indicate You Benchang, born on September 16, 1933, is now 90 years old and still actively participating in performances. In the recently premiered TV series "Flowers," directed by Wong Kar-wai on December 27, You Benchang reprised the attention-grabbing role of Uncle Ye.
