Zhang Xiaofei Elected Vice Chairman of Beijing Television Artists Association, Focused on Uncovering New Talents

On December 19, the seventh member representative assembly of the Beijing Television Artists Association successfully concluded in Beijing, with actress Zhang Xiaofei elected as the vice chairman of the association.

In response to her election, Zhang Xiaofei expressed, "Firstly, I feel deeply honored and grateful for the recognition from the Beijing TV Artists Association. I hope to continuously improve in my thoughts and artistic pursuits in the future." She acknowledged the weight of her responsibilities and aspired to explore more diversity in her works, shaping unforgettable characters, and discovering emerging talents.

Born on January 10, 1986, in Anshan, Liaoning Province, Zhang Xiaofei is a mainland Chinese actress who graduated from the Performance Academy of the Beijing Film Academy in 2009.

Despite many years since graduation, Zhang Xiaofei struggled to fulfill her ambitions in the entertainment industry until she encountered Jia Ling, who posed an unexpected question: "Would you be willing to try comedy?"

In 2015, Zhang Xiaofei collaborated with Feng Gong in the sketch "Little Cotton-padded Jacket," marking her debut on the Spring Festival Gala stage and initiating her comedy career. Subsequently, she frequently appeared on variety shows such as "Happy Comedy Gala" and "Comedy General Mobilization," partnering with Jia Ling in multiple sketches for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

In 2016, Jia Ling established Big Bowl Entertainment, with Zhang Xiaofei being the first artist signed. As a comedian, Zhang Xiaofei remained relatively unknown for a long time, with few mentions once she left the stage.

It wasn't until 2021, with the success of the film "Hello, Li Huanying," that Zhang Xiaofei skyrocketed to become a national "mom."

After gaining nationwide popularity, Zhang Xiaofei promptly disbanded her personal fan support group, rejecting fan culture and refusing to follow the path of a "popular artist." In 2022 and 2023, her involvement in film and television productions remained relatively restrained, maintaining a balanced approach to both her internal growth and external engagements.
