Vic Chou Reveals Struggle with "Social Anxiety Disorder," Difficult to Cure

Remember Vic Chou, the heartthrob? In a recent exclusive interview, he confessed to battling "Social Anxiety Disorder," commonly known as "social phobia." Those with this condition fear participating in any social or public events, often experiencing unusual levels of fear and nervousness.

Vic Chou's "Social Anxiety Disorder" appears to be more severe than the average person's, with a strong sense of vigilance and a deliberate avoidance of crowds. He revealed signs of this condition as early as the fourth grade, developing a habit of leaving home early to avoid encountering others on the way. "I can't stand having someone walk with me on the road. In high school, I once overslept and missed the 7 am class," he shared.

When asked if he could overcome it, Vic Chou expressed, "During work, I immerse myself in another role. As an artist, I feel happy." In addition to "Social Anxiety Disorder," he also disclosed suffering from "Claustrophobia" and previously admitted to battling depression in an interview. All of these factors contribute to significant psychological pressure for him.
