Lionel Messi, undoubtedly one of the greatest soccer athletes on this planet, has played in over 1000 matches throughout his professional career, scoring more than 800 goals.
Apple had announced the first project back in June this year. The initial documentary will delve into Messi's World Cup career, reaching its pinnacle with his victory in Qatar last year. Now, a recent report reveals that another documentary is also in the works, centering around Messi's professional journey in MLS.
As of now, these two documentaries are separate endeavors. The World Cup series will consist of four episodes, while the MLS series will encompass six. Despite the differing content, Apple has entrusted Smuggler Entertainment to produce both documentaries, offering audiences an unprecedented glimpse into the untold stories behind one of the greatest players in history, Messi himself.
