The director stated, "We have to thank the internet for proving that we are doing everything in our power to avoid using green screens and post-production effects in making this film. We aim to deliver something more grounded and authentically real."
In the past, many Marvel films heavily relied on shooting in digital studios in front of green screens, resulting in a substantial amount of visual effects content in the movies. However, it appears that Marvel has learned its lesson, which is why "Deadpool 3" opted for on-location shooting in the United Kingdom, striving for a more genuine cinematic experience. This decision also led to the leak of authentic set photos.
