He starred as Albus Dumbledore in the third to seventh installments of the "Harry Potter" series. He was known for his close friendship with Richard Harris, who played Dumbledore in the first two films. After Harris's unfortunate passing, Gambon took up the iconic role and continued to portray Dumbledore. Additionally, he also appeared in the 2017 film "Kingsman: The Golden Circle."
