According to Sina Movies, director Feng Xiaogang's "If You Are the One 3" is set to premiere on December 30. The renowned filmmaker returns to the New Year's film lineup, facing a plethora of diverse films this year. What prompts him to continue the "If You Are the One" series after many years? Feng Xiaogang, discussing his return to the New Year's film season, mentioned that at his current age, he simply wants to engage in activities that he finds relaxing and enjoyable. "If You Are the One 3" is a comedy, and he hopes the audience will find it amusing.

The decision to make "If You Are the One 3" was fueled by the collective desire to create another installment. With several years passing since his last film, Feng Xiaogang wanted to make an entertaining comedy, reuniting a group of old friends.

Talking about working with Ge You, a national actor, and Fan Wei, known for his aversion to socializing, Feng Xiaogang mentioned that, to cater to a younger audience, he specially invited Yu Shuxin to join. He praised Yu Shuxin as a "playful spirit" and noted her diligence in memorizing lines, describing her lines as akin to an instruction manual, making them challenging to remember.

The use of dopamine-infused colors in "If You Are the One 3" is explained by the character played by Ge You, Qin Fen, being a 70-year-old living alone.
