Hayao Miyazaki's latest work, "What Kind of Life Do You Want to Live," is set to premiere in Taiwan on October 6th, with the translated title "Egret and the Boy."
The film's title pays homage to the novel of the same name by Yoshino Genzaburou, published in 1937, but the movie's story is entirely an original creation by Hayao Miyazaki. The narrative follows the post-World War II journey of a boy named Makoto who lost his mother. His encounter with a talking blue egret sets off an incredible adventure.
