According to Sina Entertainment, 41-year-old actress Kyoko Fukuda is rumored to have an affair with a male director, causing heartbreak and a breakup with her wealthy ex-boyfriend.
Kyoko Fukuda had been in a five-year relationship with real estate tycoon Hiroshi Sugimoto, which is now on the verge of breaking due to her alleged infidelity. Reportedly, she seized the opportunity while Sugimoto was working in New York to have a secret rendezvous with a director she had previously collaborated with, spending the night at her ex-boyfriend's home and leaving behind the director's T-shirt.
After discovering the betrayal, Hiroshi Sugimoto promptly ended the relationship, stating, "We have indeed broken up. I apologize for other matters and wish her happiness." Kyoko Fukuda's management responded, "Personal matters will be handled by the individual."
The two had gone public with their relationship in January 2019, and over the next five years, there were multiple rumors of their separation.
