"Hollywood Reporter" interviewed renowned director Christopher Nolan in a cover story about Zack Snyder. Nolan not only revealed his favorite moments in Zack Snyder's films but also stated that Snyder's "Watchmen" is "innovative."
"Every time I see Kevin Costner in 'Man of Steel' telling young Clark that, regardless of his origin, he's still his son, I'm moved," Nolan expressed. "Snyder is known for creating iconic characters, and his casting intuition is unparalleled."
Nolan continued to praise Snyder's "Watchmen," a film that didn't perform exceptionally at the box office but still caught Nolan's attention.
"I've always believed that the concept of 'Watchmen' is innovative, cleverly subverting the notion of superhero teams before it became a mainstream film theme. It would have been fascinating if it had been released after 'The Avengers.'"
