In a recent interview, actress Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in the series, discussed concerns about the second season potentially not living up to the first. Ramsey reassured that these concerns are unfounded, as the team behind "The Last of Us" Season 2 has the right talent and plan for success. "I have great confidence in the creators. They are excellent, so I believe we will do well and surpass the first season," said Ramsey.

During the interview, Ramsey also talked about her relationship with Pedro Pascal, who portrays Joel. Joel and Ellie are the two main characters of the series, and their interaction is crucial to the entire storyline.
