Disney's live-action adaptation of "Snow White" wrapped up filming a year ago and was scheduled for release on March 22, 2024. However, according to a recent report from Puck News, the film is "almost certain" to face a release delay.
The movie has been asked for reshoots, and due to ongoing actor strikes, Disney might have no choice but to postpone.
As reported by The DisInsider recently, Rachel Zegler's portrayal of the lead character has received praise from test audiences.
In this movie co-written by Greta Gewig, the director of "Barbie," the roles of the dwarves will be replaced by "fantasy creatures," and the Prince Charming character will be removed. Gal Gadot is set to play the wicked queen in the film, continuing Disney's successful trend of adapting beloved animations into live-action versions.
