"The Last of Us" Actor Faces Domestic Violence, Receives Death Threats and Extortion after Breakup

Ashley Johnson, the lead actress of "The Last of Us," has revealed that her ex-boyfriend has committed numerous terrifying acts against her and her family, and she is now concerned for her own safety.

According to legal documents obtained by the media, Johnson accuses her ex-boyfriend of changing the password of the cameras in her home after a heated argument. The actress claims that she and her family do not feel safe in their own home and believes that he "is capable of murder and would harm not only me but also my family."

In the documents, Ashley stated, "On May 15th, the police issued an emergency protective order as he attempted to extort $150,000 from me. He has a history of PUA and is mentally unstable due to drug addiction."

Ashley revealed that she has been entangled with her ex-boyfriend for two and a half years and finalized their breakup in May. According to her, after the arguments and breakup, he started "carrying ammunition."

"On April 21, 2023, he manipulated it so I couldn't access any of my devices; a few weeks ago, he somehow managed to prevent me from going online. My family and friends reached out to me out of concern for my life. I was terrified. I left my home and stayed with my family," she continued.

Ashley stated that this is not the first time she has experienced "abuse" from her ex-boyfriend. She wrote, "For years, he has been throwing things, breaking glass, slamming doors, cursing at me, calling me stupid and worthless." She added that he is "mentally unstable, seemingly with cognitive decline, paranoia, and an inability to distinguish reality."
