The film "I Was Once a Mighty Mountain," adapted from the real-life story of Zhang Guimei, has officially announced its release date, set for November 24th. In the revealed poster, Hai Qing, portraying Principal Zhang, is seen wearing old clothes, yet her selflessness shines brightly, and the adhesive tape on her hands faithfully represents the original character.
This movie is directed by Zheng Dasheng and Yang Jin, with Yuan Yuan and Chen Qilin as the screenwriters. Wu Yanyan serves as the executive producer. The cast includes Hai Qing, Chen Yongsheng, Chai Ye, Wang Yueting, and Wan Guopeng. Local amateur female students from Yunnan, Meiduodawa, Zhaoruiting, Luojiyan, Guoli'na, and Pan Jiayan also play prominent roles.
