According to Variety, the popular action-horror game "Sweet Home" is set to be adapted into a film, with directors Alexander Keisler and Stephen Hack at the helm of this cinematic reimagining.

Titled "Sweet Home: Rebirth," the film is currently in the process of casting. Principal photography is scheduled to commence this autumn in Bangkok, Thailand.

"Sweet Home: Rebirth" is described as a supernatural thriller, chronicling the story of police officer James, who, after attempting to thwart a gunman at a local mall, finds himself thrust into another realm. With the help of a mysterious figure, he races against time to locate and prevent an evil sorcerer from opening the gates to hell.

Developed by the Yggdrazil Group in Thailand, "Sweet Home" has sold over a million copies globally and garnered more than 370 million views on YouTube and Twitch.

The talented German directing duo of Alexander Keisler and Stephen Hack, known for their work on various brand advertisements featuring Snoopy, Gal Gadot, and Jay Chou, will be at the helm. Speaking about the adaptation, Keisler commented, "This game universe is rooted in Thai culture, delving into the realms of fantasy and horror without limits."
