Disney's "Percy Jackson" New Cast Joins, Zeus debut

Recently, according to Variety, the Disney+ series "Percy Jackson" has revealed two new actors. Among them, actor Lance Reddick ("The Wire" and "Resident Evil" episodes) guest starred as Zeus, and British actor Toby Stephens ("Jane Eyre") guest starred as Poseidon.
Earlier news revealed that Walker Scobell will play the main character Percy Jackson, the son of the sea god Poseidon. Leah Jeffries will play Annabeth Chase. A release date for the series is currently undecided.
The previous film version of "Percy Jackson" starred Logan Lerman and others, and its adaptation of the novel (including changes to the age of the characters) caused great opposition from the author of the novel, Rick Lairton. For this episode, Lairton revealed that he will participate in many aspects, and the drama version will be more faithful to the original work, following the story line of the first series of novels.
