"Joker 2" Unveils New Logo: Gritty Texture Showcasing Distinctive Style

Recently, the sequel to the film "Joker," titled "Joker: Bifurcate Psychosis," revealed a brand-new logo. Composed solely of the movie title's subtitles, it exudes a strong gritty texture, showcasing a unique style that subtly reflects the film's theme of "psychosis."

According to the production plan, "Joker 2" will incorporate some retrospective elements, with certain scenes unfolding at the Arkham Asylum. Consequently, the film can be considered, to some extent, a prequel.

The predecessor, "Joker," successfully shattered conventional perceptions of superhero films, set in the 1980s, narrating the story of a struggling comedian gradually descending into mental breakdown, ultimately embarking on a crazed criminal career in Gotham City and becoming Batman's arch-nemesis.

Director Todd Phillips maintains an open-minded approach to the sequel. In terms of the cast, Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as the Joker, Lady Gaga portrays Harley Quinn, and Todd Phillips returns as the director.

Currently, the sequel is slated to premiere in North America on October 4, 2024, marking the fifth anniversary of the release of "Joker."
