Progress of the Movie "Uncharted 2" Seems Smooth, Script in the Works, Says Mark Wahlberg

According to Mark Wahlberg, who plays Victor Sullivan in the "Uncharted" film series, the progress of the movie "Uncharted 2" seems quite smooth.

Since the release of the first film in early 2022, news about whether there would be a "Uncharted 2" has not been clear, but it sounds like it might be in the works.

In an interview with The Direct, Mark Wahlberg confirmed that "Uncharted 2" is actively in the works and that there is already a script. However, the script is currently undergoing adjustments, and the production team has various ideas for the upcoming story development. Wahlberg emphasizes that he would only return if they can surpass the first film.

Wahlberg says, "I've heard there are many different ideas. I know someone has written a script, and they're still refining it. Throughout the entire movie, my character will maintain the facial hair. This makes perfect sense because in the last scene of the first part, I had facial hair. We tried using fake facial hair at one point, but I wasn't confident about it. It felt like I had a big piece of tape on my mouth, and it seemed ridiculous. I admire those who can wear wigs, prosthetics, and makeup. I've successfully worn a prosthetic limb before, but that was a long time ago. When I finally kept the facial hair, people really liked it. It was a nice conclusion to the movie. So, if we can do better than the first one, you know, I would consider it. But right now, I only know as much as you do."
