Actor Tom Holland shares his struggle with alcohol addiction. He admits that before quitting in 2022, he frequently drank alcohol and was enslaved by it. He confesses that he used to wake up every day with the thought of having a drink as soon as possible. This fear consumed him. However, he announced his decision to quit drinking in January 2022 and committed to staying sober until his birthday in June.
When he reached June 1st, it became the happiest moment of his life. He experienced better sleep and began to handle his issues more effectively. Mistakes on set would usually make him angry, but now he can calmly accept them. His mind became much clearer, and he felt healthier and better.
Tom Holland has been sober for 18 months, and he states that his life has reached a whole new level.
