Director's Insights on "Thor 4" and Potential "Thor 5": The Need for Stronger Antagonists

Director Taika Waititi has shared some thoughts on the potential "Thor 5," emphasizing the necessity of introducing even more formidable adversaries than before in the "Thor 4."

"How can we further evolve his character? It's crucial to maintain his growth while keeping the element of fun intact. He should face challenges that push him beyond his limits. We definitely won't step back to weaker antagonists like Hela. We're aiming higher, building on that foundation, and adding a more powerful antagonist," he stated.

Though "Thor 5" is yet to be officially confirmed, Waititi seems to have a clear vision if the film proceeds. He also disclosed that Thor stands out from other MCU characters due to his roots in mythology. Waititi believes that guiding Thor, the god of thunder, through the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, to confront increasingly bizarre adversaries, beautifully encapsulates the merging of comic book lore and ancient myths.
